Carnkie Camera Club - Photography

Carnkie Camera Club is a lively 'fun' club and we extend a warm welcome to anyone interested in photography, regardless of skills, ability or equipment. We aim to provide a friendly and relaxed place where like minded people can meet and develop their interest in photography.

We meet each Wednesday in the Carnkie Institute, Carnkie village, near Redruth, under the shadow of Carn Brea at 7:00pm all year round. There is no obligation to attend every week!

Meetings are largely informal with everyone encouraged to participate. There is an annual membership fee of 5 and a small fee of 3.00 per meeting (2.00 for each member of the same family) is made to cover running costs, refreshments and venue hire.

We hope that Carnkie Camera Club is a little different to other clubs - the emphasis is fun, sharing and enjoying photography. Some meetings will include "hands-on" practical sessions, so bring your camera.

The Club has a digital projector, an A3 photo printer and has a small stock of small accessories such as filters, extension tubes and tripods . All members are welcome to use these with a small charge being made for any consumables.

Whether you live in Cornwall or further afield, we hope you find this web site useful and informative.
